Dear FUSD Families,

As a reminder, Flagstaff Unified School District (FUSD) online registration and annual verification for the 2026–2027 school year are officially open, giving families the opportunity to confirm enrollment, update information, and complete required forms.

Returning FUSD Students: Verification

Parents or guardians of students who are currently enrolled, or who have previously been enrolled, in an FUSD school should complete annual verification through ParentVUE. This process allows families to confirm enrollment for next year and update important student and household information.

Families can access the verification portal at: www.fusd1.org/verification

Those who have not yet established a ParentVUE account will need to contact their child’s school office to receive an activation key before getting started.

Students New to FUSD: Online Registration

Families enrolling a student in FUSD for the first time can begin the process by creating a new account at www.fusd1.org/onlineregistration. During registration, families will be asked to upload required documentation, including student records and completed forms.

If a ParentVUE account has not yet been established, families should contact their child’s school office to obtain an activation key.

Boundary Exceptions, Kindergarten, and 6th Grade Enrollment

For students who wish to attend a school outside of their assigned boundary, families must first complete online enrollment at their child’s boundary school. After enrollment is submitted, families can complete and submit a Boundary Exception Request Form to the school they are requesting their child attend.

For incoming 6th grade students, both Mount Elden Middle School and Sinagua Middle School are accepting boundary exception requests now through April 30, with requests being accepted right away during this window.

Families with students new to FUSD may select either middle school during online registration. A Boundary Exception Form will still be required if the selected school is outside of the student’s home boundary.

For returning FUSD students currently enrolled in an FUSD elementary school, the assigned middle school will automatically populate in online registration based on the student’s home address. If a family would like their child to attend a different middle school, they must first complete online registration for their boundary school and then submit a Boundary Exception Request Form to their desired school. After April 30, enrollment requests outside a student’s home boundary will be approved as space allows.

Incoming kindergarten families for the 2026–2027 school year have additional flexibility. Through April 30, families may register in any FUSD elementary school using the online system and enroll at the school of their choosing right away—without the approval wait time used in previous years. Families will still need to complete and submit a Boundary Exception Request Form to their desired school if it is outside of their home boundary. After April 30, enrollment requests outside a student’s home boundary will be reviewed and approved as needed. Please note that Puente de Hózhó follows a unique enrollment process.

Questions and Support

School offices are available to support families throughout the registration and verification process. Families with questions about online verification, registration steps, boundary exceptions, or required documentation are encouraged to contact their child’s school site for assistance.

Completing registration and verification early helps schools plan for staffing, programs, and services, ensuring a smooth start to the 2026–2027 school year for all students and families.

We appreciate your time!
